Terry is the Co-Founder and CEO of Energy Transition Services (ETS), bringing over 30 years of experience in the renewable energy and biofuels industries. Before founding ETS, Terry co-founded IR1 Group, a project development, construction, and operations advisory firm focused on renewable energy and plastic recycling, where he led the development of projects totaling over $300 million in infrastructure.

Previously, Terry served as the VP of Operations at Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (PEI), where he was responsible for the design, construction, and operations of five ethanol plants, with a combined construction value exceeding $500 million and annual revenues surpassing $500 million. Terry also held the position of General Manager at Ace Ethanol, where he led the development and construction of the facility and subsequently managed operations and P&L.

Terry holds a B.S. in Dairy Science from South Dakota State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota.

 Co-Founder and CFO. Jeff manages project development, finance and accounting. Prior to ETS, Jeff co-founded IR1 Group, where he co-lead over $100 million P&L. Prior to IR1, Jeff headed finance at Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (PEI). As PEI’s first employee, he served many roles and throughout its development. Jeff has closed capital raises of $8

 Co-Founder and CFO. Jeff manages project development, finance and accounting. Prior to ETS, Jeff co-founded IR1 Group, where he co-lead over $100 million P&L. Prior to IR1, Jeff headed finance at Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (PEI). As PEI’s first employee, he served many roles and throughout its development. Jeff has closed capital raises of $800+ million, including a $325 million project finance deal in 2007 that won Project Finance Magazine’s Ethanol Deal of the Year Award. Jeff received his M.B.A. with distinction and his M.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan and his B.A. from Haverford College. Jeff has served as treasurer for a number of non-profit organizations.

 Co-Founder and COO. Bob has 25+ years of experience in manufacturing processes, including plastics extrusion and recycling. Bob has served has held senior leadership positions in plastics recycling companies, including as COO of Revolution Plastics, and VP of Operations at Novolex. His experience include design, engineering and construct

 Co-Founder and COO. Bob has 25+ years of experience in manufacturing processes, including plastics extrusion and recycling. Bob has served has held senior leadership positions in plastics recycling companies, including as COO of Revolution Plastics, and VP of Operations at Novolex. His experience include design, engineering and construction of plastics recycling lines. Bob has managed over 1200 employees and over $400 million P&L. Bob has build multiple plastics recycling lines, including LDPE and LLDPE, and his experience includes extrusion of both polyethylene films and foams. Before joining the plastics extrusion and recycling industries, Bob led operations and maintenance on a nuclear submarine in the U.S. Navy. Bob received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A from the of University of Minnesota.

 Director of Operations. Joe Winckler is ETS’s Director of Operations and will play a lead role in Project construction and operations. Previously, Joe was Director of Operations at IR1 Group, Inc. Prior to IR1 he was the GM of Operations at Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (PEI), where he was responsible for construction and operations of 5 ethanol

 Director of Operations. Joe Winckler is ETS’s Director of Operations and will play a lead role in Project construction and operations. Previously, Joe was Director of Operations at IR1 Group, Inc. Prior to IR1 he was the GM of Operations at Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (PEI), where he was responsible for construction and operations of 5 ethanol plants. Joe had management responsibility for over 120 employees, including plants production managers, lab managers and commodity managers. Prior to PEI, Joe was the Plant Manager at Ace Ethanol and Ethanol 2000, where he was heavily involved in the development, construction and operations of each of its facilities. Joe started his ethanol career at the first POET plant in 1993. Joe is a graduate of the Graduate U.S. Army Non-Commissioned Officers Academy (Korea) and the Graduate Process Safety Management School.

 Director of Engineering. Jim Moore is the Director of Engineering of ETS, where he leads engineering management. Prior to ETS, Jim was Director of Engineering at IR1 Group, Inc.. Jim’s career spans 35+ years of construction, engineering and operations management with an emphasis on design/build projects for process and manufacturing indu

 Director of Engineering. Jim Moore is the Director of Engineering of ETS, where he leads engineering management. Prior to ETS, Jim was Director of Engineering at IR1 Group, Inc.. Jim’s career spans 35+ years of construction, engineering and operations management with an emphasis on design/build projects for process and manufacturing industries. He has a demonstrated record of success in managing the P&L for projects and multi-plant programs with over $500 million in capital value, and teams of 110+ design/engineering and 500+ construction personnel for in-house and client account design/build projects in multiple industries, both in the U.S. and overseas. Jim also has extensive experience in renewables technology, with leadership roles at a major process technology provider and PEI. Jim has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
